Here is your 2009 Daytona Starting Lineup! Your Daytona Starting Lineup grid has Martin Truex Jr. at the poll position. But the Daytona 500’s biggest question for Sunday – will Jeff Gordon win again?
Gordon, 37, has a reported 41 race winlesss streak so far. If he doesn’t win at Daytona Sunday, this will now be the worse slump of Jeff Gordon’s career, despite 81 previous career victories and 4 championships.
Is Gordon favored to win? Nope. Gordon tells the New York Times:
“Last year was a big deal, and it’s behind us and we learned from it. We grow from it and make ourselves better and try to make sure it doesn’t happen this year. I don’t think it’s going to.”
